Biolucida is a hub for your 2D and 3D image data. It allows you to store all of your 2D and 3D image data and metadata in a secure, permanent location accessible via the web. Images can be acquired with slide scanners or microscope systems, and they can be any size - Biolucida is built to handle large image data. The possibilities are endless with Biolucida: share images with collaborators, include large image sets in published papers, start, or contribute to, a public image data repository, analyze images on any computer with Neurolucida 360, Stereo Investigator, BrainMaker and more. Biolucida
The SPARC Portal uses Biolucida, an image serving and management platform developed by MBF Bioscience. It consists of server and client components, which communicate to deliver full-resolution images to viewers over the web.
