The NIH Common Fund, in partnership with NASA’s Tournament Lab, has launched the Replication Prize — a groundbreaking competition designed to strengthen scientific research by advancing replicability in biomedical science.

The competition will crowdsource innovative ideas to:

Identify high-impact areas of research most in need of replication studies.

Highlight successful strategies for integrating replication into ongoing research.

💡 Two submission tracks are available:

Track One (Replication Ideas): Identify high-impact research areas that need replication.

Track Two (Replication Exemplars): Showcase effective strategies already being used to integrate replication into research. Winning strategies will be compiled into a public reference resource.

By boosting rigor, transparency, and reproducibility, the Replication Prize aims to help researchers build on existing findings, test the limits of original results, and accelerate the development of new discoveries and technologies that improve public health.

🏆 Prize Purse: $850,000 (shared among winners) 📅 Submission Deadline: December 19, 2025, 8:00 PM EST 👉 Apply here: https://bit.ly/3ICAkc1
