PanKbase is offering its annual AI pilot funding opportunity to accelerate the integration of advanced artificial intelligence and data science into its PanKbase platform. In 2025, proposals are invited under two tracks:
Partner Programs: Seeking collaborations to improve interoperability between external platforms and PanKbase using generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Research Teams: Targeting the development of foundational models, AI agents of the pancreas (especially in Type 1 diabetes), multimodal data integration, and enhancements to usability or training capabilities of PanKbase.
Applicants must share all resulting data and AI tools via PanKbase, collaborating closely with its team.

Project Start Date: November 15, 2025
Eligibility: Only domestic (U.S.) applicants can apply—foreign institutions are not eligible.
