Introducing the SPARC Portal's New Homepage

The SPARC Portal has a new homepage, redesigned to reflect the platform's multi-scale, multi-modal, multi-species scope. The new design brings together data spanning molecular, cellular, organ, and whole-body physiology, drawn from humans, pigs, rodents, and other model species, and organized by experimental approach, anatomy, and contributing consortia.

The homepage also reflects the portal's expanded focus on understanding human pain and the human vagus nerve, two areas of active growth across the SPARC research community. This work is anchored by consortia including PRECISION (cellular and molecular origins that underlie human peripheral pain pathways), VITAL (multi-organ digital twins for physiological modeling), HEAL RE-JOIN (restoring joint health and function to reduce pain), and the original SPARC Program (autonomic nervous system mapping), alongside tools such as the interactive anatomical flatmap,o²S²PARC computational simulation platform, the Precision Atlas, NervoSensus, and SCKAN.
