MicroFile+
MicroFile+ uses state-of-the-art compression methods to efficiently and accurately convert 2D and 3D images from most sources and formats into manageable, standardized experimental results. Convert nearly any type of microscopy image to the SPARC standardized formats: JPEG2000 or OME-TIFF. These formats efficiently store big image and metadata for fast retrieval, viewing, and analyses across applications and on the SPARC Portal. MicroFile+ makes it easy for researchers to produce FAIR microscopy image data that’s understandable, reusable, and shareable. Add or edit metadata about the image such as experimental target labels and/or how it was acquired during conversion.

We’ve developed a headless version of the MicroFile+ app which accepts input from a command line interface, and we’ve developed a Python package to make scripting large conversion procedures simpler and easier.
