Creating and exploring a knowledge base of PNS connectivity

Presenter: Susan Tappan, PhD & Maryann Martone, PhD

Rock Maple Science & University of California, San Diego

About the Seminar

The complexity of the networks involved in autonomic and somatic control makes it difficult to comprehensively analyze the intricate relationships between different systems. Using deep learning methods to screen peer-reviewed literature is one method we use to establish SCKAN, our semantic store housing a comprehensive knowledge base of autonomic nervous system (ANS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS) nerve to end organ connectivity for the SPARC Portal. Join us to see how SCKAN is built, and how you and your research data can be incorporated to power LLMs for non-hallucinating query.

The video is now available on the SPARC YouTube Channel.
