ZMT’s Sim4Life software V8.0 Compatible on Web and Desktop.

ZMT's research partner, the IT'IS Foundation, was co-funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s SPARC initiative to develop the o2S2PARC platform, which contributed key technologies to the Sim4Life.web

ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) has unveiled Sim4Life V8.0 Web & Desktop. Powered by the open-source technologies developed by the SPARC program's o²S²PARC simulation platform, Sim4Life offers cloud-based accessibility and is available free of charge for students, particularly targeting educational purposes.

The foundation of Sim4Life, o²S²PARC, was developed by the SPARC Data Resource Center (DRC), Simulation Core, with a core focus on ensuring sustainable, reproducible, and FAIR computational modeling within the realm of bioelectronic medicine. This encompasses simulations pertaining to neural interfaces, their interactions with the peripheral nervous system, and subsequent impacts on organ function.

Distinctively, o²S²PARC serves as a cloud-based, open, and adaptable platform for computational modeling and data analysis. It facilitates the creation of intricate pipelines utilizing a spectrum of services developed by SPARC and external researchers, thereby enabling the development of user-friendly, web-accessible applications. Currently, there are 74 services directly available on the SPARC Portal for use on o²S²PARC This technological framework aims to democratize access to SPARC-generated knowledge, fostering widespread utilization.

Moreover, Sim4Life stands as a testament to the potency of o²S²PARC, allowing full web support, even when tackling the most intricate modeling tasks. Notably, Sim4Life excels in modeling, probing, and refining neural interfaces for stimulation and sensing, aligning with the objectives of the SPARC Program in advancing bioelectronic medicine breakthroughs.

The SPARC Program is excited about the role of o²S²PARC in catalyzing their achievements, underscoring its adaptability and maturity. Interested parties are encouraged to request their own o²S²PARC account to explore its capabilities firsthand.
